I believe that there are two basic elements to photographs that evoke an emotional reaction-light and vision. The ordinary becomes extraordinary in the right light. The photographer who can turn an “ordinary scene” into a memorable scene possessed a vision about that scene that the casual observer might have missed. Thus the difference between good and great photography and ordinary vs. extraordinary and photographs which evoke no response and photographs which evoke an emotional response are due to the unique vision and oftentimes wonderful, magical light of the scene. I have chosen photographs which have evoked a response both in myself and in others and hope that these photographs bring you joy. I look forward to hearing from you and your comments.
